To promote Prime Video’s new series of ‘Die Discounter’, we designed and produced a live game show set in a supermarket.
It had to keep the look and comedic feel of the series, so we designed live challenges designed for comedic situations and set-ups. The format and narrative of the live stream show was designed to gradually move through the supermarket, creating live chaos, therefore we needed a meticulous lighting and camera plan, and various game controls and contingency plans in place.
We completely rebranded the entire store in a way that allowed our on screen talent to destroy each set as the stream progressed. In pre-production we developed a treatment which would allow us to to shoot in the colourful pop style of the series for seamless colour grading across both the live stream & edited socials cut downs.
